Going Slower to Go Deeper

“If in fact the highest, most creative work is the work of consciousness, then in slowing down we’re not doing less: we’re doing more…Having slowed down physically we’re in a better space to rev up psychically. We are becoming contemplative…We’re going slower in order to go deeper, in order to go faster in the direction of urgently needed change in the world.”
--Marianne Williamson

'A Time to Remember" by Pino

I like the way this woman thinks! And boy do I see this happening not only in myself but all around me. I have been encountering wonderful women (and men) who are entering their “years of wisdom” with a deep sense of purpose and understanding. Many are revving up to undertake a whole new endeavor. We’ve put in our time on the job, with our families, doing what we thought we were supposed to be doing. Now it’s our time to gather forces as we go deeper and faster in the direction of change. I can’t wait to see what we create in the next decade to leave behind for our children and our children’s children.
